It is a bright and uplifting essential oil, and its aroma brings with it the classic scent of Christmas. Its aroma is fresh and vibrant, blending will with other evergreen oils such as Pine, Cedarwood and Spruce. It also blends well with Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon and Myrtle essential oils.
- BODY & MIND –Fir Balsam is a very uplifting essential oil and can help lift the spirits, great for the festive season. As with most evergreen needle oils, it is also very grounding and stimulating, making it great to help focus the mind.
- DIY TIP –To create a lovely relaxing and warming massage oil, add a couple of drops of Fir Balsam essential oil to a carrier oil of your choice massage into the affected areas to help soothe aches and pains.
- ROOM FRAGRANCE – To create a wonderful ‘forest’ aroma, blend a few drops of Fir Balsam essential oil with 1 or 2 drops of evergreen oils such as Pin, Spruce or Cedarwood and add to a diffuser or oil burner.
Fir Balsam, a bright and uplifting essential oil
Fir Balsam is an uplifting essential oil with a distinctive aroma, reminiscent of Christmas trees and the festive season. It is fresh, bright, and softly balsamic and is great to use when you need extra help focusing, due to its lovely stimulating and grounding properties.
Fir Balsam can also be great to use during the winter months, when you may have more aches and pains than usual. It has lovely warming and relaxing properties making it a great essential oil to add to a carrier oil to massage into your muscles and joints to help soothe those aches and pains.
It is also naturally antibacterial so is great to diffuse in the home to help cleanse the atmosphere whenever you feel the need to refresh.
