Our Organic Castor oil has a rich honey-like consistency and is pale yellow to clear in colour with a light nutty aroma. This oil is extremely rich in skin loving essential fatty acids which help to deeply nourish and hydrate the skin and hair, one of which is ricinoleic acid which soothes and softens the skin leaving dull or dry skin feeling restored and rejuvenated.
Castor oil is also the perfect oil to introduce into your haircare routine to help to deeply nourish and hydrate dry, flat or frizzy hair types. Not only does Castor oil give hair a hydrating boost but It also carries with it soothing properties for the scalp, and can be helpful when tackling dandruff or an irritated scalp. How to use
Organic Castor Oil can be used on its own or as an ingredient in hair, skin and facial blends. Perfect for night-time moisturising, to soothe dry or irritated skin. For easier absorption where required Castor oil can be diluted 1:1 into a lighter carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, ideal for adding a boost to massage or body oil blends.
