Helichrysum is a pungent, aromatic essential oil, a must-have in aromatherapy as an additive in skincare preparations – especially suited to problem and mature skin types. Helichrysum is also a great oil for lifting the spirits and easing the mind after a hard day.
This essential oil is steam distilled from the flowering tops of the Helichrysum plant, often referred to as the ‘Everlasting flowers’.
Helichrysum is often used as an additive or fixative in perfumes and soap, this essential oil is a more easily pourable version than the absolute. Helichrysum blends well with Chamomile, Rose, Lavender, and Geranium essential oils.
